L’Italia è anche la terra del cinema, della musica, della letteratura. Come abbiamo visto nell’articolo Italiano e musica, l’italiano è la lingua utilizzata nella terminologia musicale.
Ma non solo questo! Molte opere famosissime sono state realizzate in italiano: studiare l’italiano è un’occasione incredibile per permetterti di leggere La Divina Commedia di Dante, vedere La Dolce Vita di Federico Fellini, ascoltare La Traviata di Giuseppe Verdi in lingua originale e apprezzare questi e altri grandi artisti.
Italy is also the land of cinema, of music, of literature. As we mentioned in the article Italiano e musica, Italian is the language used in the musical terminology.
But not only that! Many well-known works were made in Italian: studying Italian is an incredible occasion to let you read Dante’s Divine Comedy, watch Federico Fellini’s La Dolce Vita, listen to Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata in their original language and appreciate these and other great artists.

Dici la parola “moda” e pensi subito all’Italia. Chi non ha mai sognato davanti ad un abito di Valentino o di Versace? Non solo per le sfilate di Milano, l’italiano è la lingua dell’eleganza e dell’attenzione verso l’estetica.
You say the word “fashion” and immediately think of Italy. Who has never dreamed in front of a Valentino’s or a Versace’s dress? Not only for the fashion shows, Italian is the language of style and of the attention to aesthetics.
CUCINA
È la lingua della cucina! Potrai provare a preparare le ricette seguendo i procedimenti in Italiano e utilizzando gli ingredienti originari. Inoltre pensa alla soddisfazione di poter ordinare un piatto in un ristorante italiano riuscendo a comprendere quello che c’è scritto nel menu 🙂
It is the language of cooking! You can try and cook the recipes following the procedures in Italian and using the original ingredients. Besides, think of the satisfaction you may have ordering a dish in an Italian restaurant and understanding all you read in the menu 🙂
L’italiano è una lingua utile in diversi campi, non solo in quelli finora esaminati, ma anche nell’arredo per interni, l’ingegneria spaziale o edile, la robotica… Oltre ad essere la lingua del Made in Italy, molte aziende straniere richiedono spesso qualcuno che sappia parlare l’italiano per mantenere i rapporti con questo Paese che è fra i dieci più influenti al mondo sul piano economico.
Italian is a language useful in different fields, not only in the ones we have just analyzed, but also in interior design, in space and construction engineering, in robotics… In addition to being the language of Made in Italy, many companies often seek for someone who can speak Italian to maintain the relationship with this country which is among the ten more influential world economic powers.
Dal punto di vista linguistico, conoscendo l’italiano imparerai facilmente anche termini latini, dato che questa è la lingua che ha il più alto numero di parole che derivano dal latino, e ciò ti tornerà utile in tanti campi della vita, dalla medicina alla botanica.
From a linguistic point of view, if you know the Italian language you will also easily learn Latin words, since this is the language with the highest number of words coming from Latin, and this can be useful to you in many fields, from medical science to botany.
In generale, poi, imparare una nuova lingua migliora il funzionamento del cervello, allenando anche la memoria; infine, ma non per questo meno importante, conoscere le lingue apre la mente e il cuore verso le altre culture e aumenta la consapevolezza della propria.
What is more, in general learning a new language is a way to improve brain functioning, training our memory; last but not least, language knowledge open our mind and heart to other cultures and increase the awareness of our own culture.
Non dimenticare poi che se dovessi avere qualche difficoltà a farti capire, con gli italiani puoi sempre utilizzare i gesti 😉
